All classes are located at the Hugh Chatham Aquatic & Wellness Center, 700 Chatham Medical Park, Elkin. Call 336-527-7468 for more information.

Classes are $4 each, or you can get a class pass card for $33 which gives you 11 classes without an expiration. Boot Camp and Aqua Boot Camp are $5 per class.

All classes run for 60 minutes.

3rd Annual Food Truck 5K

Food Truck 5kThe Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital Foundation and Wellness Center is proud to partner with Explore Elkin to bring you the 3rd annual Food Truck 5K in Elkin, NC.   

The race itself will start on the campus of the hospital at the Wellness Center, meadnering throughout the scenic and picturesque hospital campus, eventually ending in Downtown Elkin at the Explore Elkin Food Truck Festival. Runners/Walkers of any age and ability level are encouraged to attend. The Explore Elkin Food Truck Festival will take place on Standard Street in Downtown Elkin, and will be begin at approximately 11am.

Anyone in the community is welcome to come and indulge from the food trucks, whether you're a 5k participant or not. So come and participate in the walk/run, eat some delicious food from the food trucks and have a great time!!

Cross Train

Women's Choice AwardA mix of weights and cardio exercises to help improve muscular strength and endurance and to help tone all areas of the body. A variety of functional exercises, targeting the large muscle groups, will be performed to make the body reach its potential.

Push yourself to the limit in this cardio class using bodyweight and equipment to get a maximal calorie burn. Plyometric drills on top of nonstop strength, power, resistance and core training will leave you dripping with sweat and burning hundreds of calories.

Aquatic Classes

Cost: $100 for Monday, Wednesday, Friday classes; $66 for Tuesday, Thursday classes; $33 for one session per week (HCMH employees and volunteers receive a 40% discount)

Duration: 60 minutes per session, eight-week series meeting either Monday, Wednesday and Friday or Tuesday and Thursday

All levels of classes are offered, from high energy cardio classes to regular aquatic exercise and therapeutic or rehabilitative classes
