Testimonials
"A young, newly diagnosed type one diabetic patient at HCMH was extremely motivated to control his diabetes and eager to learn about his condition. He sought information on line and subscribed to a diabetes publication. As a result, he lost 50 pounds. Today he has a model healthy diet, an active lifestyle, and great glycemic control. He even wants to be an example to his overweight Father and diabetic Grandmother."

Frequently Asked Questions
Q.  What is the difference between a Registered Dietitian and a       Nutritionist?
A.   A Registered Dietitian (RD) is a healthcare professional who has completed a nutrition-related         degree and passed a national board examination. Registered Dietitians must also complete         continuing education courses regularly to keep their registration current. A Nutritionist is not         required to complete a degree, a supervised experience, a national board, or continuing         education hours.
